Busy Busy — No Update!
Hey guys! Sorry about the lack of update today — we’re hard at work trying to get the store up and running in time for the holidays (you can preview the teeshirt designs by clicking on the “store” button). :D We’re also working on donation rewards and a sketchbook collection of former incentives and sketch comics. We are busy bees!
The panel above is actually the first panel of the next ROMA strip. It’s all scripted out, so I’m planning to draw and post it on Monday. We’re also going to shoot for Monday as the first day of preorders, so it should be a pretty banner day. See you then!
I’m rather fond of today’s incentive — it’s a picture of Tia bellydancing. When I got to thinking about it, I realized it would be just up her alley.

Yaay! I got the first comment! I am here, the first one to see this (nothingness) and I forgot what I was going to say :-/

Oh yeah (I remembered).
Just when you didn’t think Tia could be any MORE dangerous. (This is how the Roman Empire fell you know)

Kekeke, I was thinking about the kinda skills a girl would learn majoring in seduction, and bellydancing seemed like a good way to earn a physical education credit. (And totally something she would be into — I can see her at home with strong incense and a big fat hookah.)

if you could torment us with Diva’s dad in frilly panties, then show us a pic/pics of the other major characters (hopefully female) belly dancing too Brinson-sama!
Also, would it be possable to say that Tia got into belly dancing because Her mom taught her the basics years ago? <_<

Her mom may have been a hippie back in the day, but I think she may have been more into free expression and such. Like that new age abstract dance stuff.

i can see hippies getting into belly dancing, especialy devil women hippies. ;-)
maybe the belly dance was one of the tools Diva’s mom used to bag Diva’s dad back in the days?

She is indeed! Nineteen, in fact. (Which is why I always draw her all cheesecakey, I don’t feel guilty. XD)

I love how Dante says booger instead of bugger. lol seems more innocent and cute that way.

I HAVE a(some) QUESTION(s)! Will the panties sketches be inside the soon-to-come sketches place, or would that be too much to ask?
The T-shirts look fantastic, tho! I almost would like to buy one, but I love my money more then clothes.
Tho, if Tia is belly dancing, does that mean she is also into arabic/indian music, too?

They will be in the soon-to-come sketchbook! I’m picking my favorite incentives to stuff it with, and that one just might be my favoritest of all time, kekeke. (We’re also considering doing a few sketches that might be exclusive to the sketchbook, stuff that’s a bit racier than we put on the site. Nothing gross, just perhaps PG or PG-13 type things.)
Thanks for the compliment on the tees! And I bet she does like that kind of music. I see her as a world music (and oldies) kinda gal, myself.

Good Question! Brinson-sama? Tabitha and I would like to hear from you on your thoughts on Cerby’s life span.

That’s a good question, y’all. You know, I always thought of her like a normal dog, but I bet as a heck-hound, she DOES have a longer life-span. I will consult Joe on this!

You definately need to do a finished version of the Tia bellydancing sketch. Just sayin’.

Loved Virgil and Dante breaking the fourth wall :) And the sketch of Tia bellydancing was great (my thought was “Salome”…) :)

Ah, thank you! Salome is one of my favorite figures in art. Years ago, I saw this one ( http://www.artchive.com/artchive/h/henri/henri_salome.jpg ) in person and it was gorgeous.
